
MacPherson Signs Six Panthers to 2026 Roster

PITTSBURGH – Head Coach Casey Jo MacPherson and the Pitt gymnastics program are excited to announce the additions of six talented Panthers to the 2026 roster. The group makes their way to Pittsburgh from four states and two different countries.
"We are thrilled to welcome this stellar class to Pitt," says MacPherson. "Hailing from all over the world, they bring a fun combination of artistry, dynamics and performance that is sure to excite fans. Together with the poise and experience of our returners, they will help take Pitt Gymnastics to the next level."
Madi Bell | Springfield, Va. | Lake Braddock Secondary School | Capital Gymnastics NTC
Bell is a 2022 National Qualifier and earned first place at Christmas on the Chesapeake in 2024. She was crowned a champion of the 2025 Atlanta Crown meet and recorded a sixth-place finish at the Nastia Liukin Cup.
She is one of four children and is the daughter of Shawn and Myron Bell.
Layla Bobek | Hilliard, Ohio | Hilliard Davidson High School | Universal Gymnasts, Inc.
Bobek comes to Pitt as a five-time national qualifier, resulting in a fifth-place finish on beam in 2025. She is a 2024 and 2025 Regional beam and bars champion and added an all-around championship finish in 2024 as well. Bobek is a 2023 Ohio State beam champion and 2024 Ohio State All-Around champion.
She is the daughter of Heidi and Nathan Bobek and has one sister. Her dad played football at Valparaiso University.
McKenzie Clark | Bowie, Md. | Acellus Academy | Thrive Gymnastics
Clark is a 2025 National Qualifier and a two-time team captain at Thrive Gymnastics. She competed well at regionals the last few years, earning a third-place finish on vault in 2024 and beam in 2025. Clark also placed second on vault and third at States in 2025.
She has two siblings and is the daughter of Mike and Nikki Clark. In addition to gymnastics, Clark also ran track in high school and coaches gymnastics at Thrive Gym.
Makenzie Grant | Delta, British Columbia, Canada | Delta Secondary School | Langley Gymnastics
Grant comes to Pittsburgh as the 2024 Western Canadian All-Around Champion and Provincial All-Around Champion. She won the Chuck Sebestyen Award last year and was the Langley Gymnastics 2024 Athlete of the Year.
She has two siblings and is the daughter of Danya and Jarrett Grant.
Lailah Green | Boerne, Texas | Texas Connections Academy | Mavericks Gymnastics
Green is a three-time National Qualifier and the 2024 Nationals All-Star vault champion. She competed well at the 2024 and 2025 Region 3 Championships, placing first on vault. A standout in the Texas gymnastics scene, she was crowned the 2025 state vault, bars, beam and all-around champion.
She is the daughter of Otilia Green and one of four sisters.
Mali Morgan | Llantwit Major, Wales | Llantwit Major High School | La Salle Gymnastics
Morgan has been a member of the Great Britain Senior National squad for the past three years and represented Great Britain and Wales at the international level as a senior. She placed second on floor and sixth in all-around, beam and vault in the 2024 British Championship finals. Morgan also impressed at the last three British Championships, placing in the top 10 in All-Around. She represented Wales at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and was crowned the British Junior beam champion in 2021.
She is the daughter of four-time Olympic diver Robert and Angie Morgan. Her brothers competed for Wales internationally in gymnastics.
