Women's Soccer to Host No. 24 Florida State Sunday

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt women's soccer team returns to Ambrose Urbanic Field to take on No. 24 Florida State Sunday at 1 p.m. Pitt and Florida State have matched up six times since 2022 with three meetings coming in the 2023 season.

Mya Archibald has assisted on the last two goals Pitt has scored. She has three on the season and five points on the year for a career high.
Eden Jones made the second start of her career at Notre Dame Thursday at center back. She played the full 90 for the first time in her career against the Fighting Irish.
Seven Panthers have appeared in all 15 games. Lola Abraham and Elli Johnson are the only Panthers to make starts in every game.
With its seventh win of the season last Thursday, Pitt surpassed its win total from 2025 of six.
All ACC teams are in the top 75 of the RPI with 14 inside the top 50. Pitt sits at 48 in the RPI following all games played through Oct. 14.
Pitt is top six in the ACC in shots on goal per game during conference play. The Panthers are putting 5.57 shots on net per contest.

ABOUT FLORIDA STATE

The Seminoles, defending national champions, come into the match with a 6-1-3 overall record and a 2-0-2 mark in ACC play. They earned their second ACC win Thursday at No. 4 Wake Forest, 2-0.
Sam Erbach leads the team with 12 points (4G, 4A). Kate Ockene has started all but one game in net for the Seminoles with a 0.89 goals against average and a 0.778 save percentage.
