Pitt to Square Off with SMU for Second Time This Season

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt women's basketball team is set to square off with SMU for the second time of the season. Sunday's game is scheduled for 12 p.m. and can be viewed on the ACC Network.

THE OPENING TIP
- Pitt battled early but couldn't overcome a decisive second quarter run, falling to Syracuse, 84-51, on Thursday night inside the Petersen Events Center.
- Three Panthers reached double figures in scoring, led by Theresa Hagans Jr. with 13 points and a team-high five assists.
- Mikayla Johnson added 10 points, notching her 18th double-digit performance on the season along with eight rebounds.
