Souare will have two years of eligibility remaining and is set to enter his redshirt junior season in 2026-27.
In 2025-26 at Syracuse, Souare appeared in 29 games for the Orange, recording 18 blocks on the season while providing rim protection and a defensive presence in the post. He played a season-high 17 minutes inside the Petersen Events Center, posting four points, four rebounds and a blocked shot.
As a redshirt freshman at Georgia Tech in 2024-25, Souare appeared in 30 games with 14 starts, averaging 2.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in 16.9 minutes of action while shooting an efficient 59 percent from the field. He turned in a career-high nine points and 12 rebounds in a triple-overtime win over Clemson on Feb. 4, 2025, and added eight points and 11 rebounds against Wake Forest later in the season.
Prior to his collegiate career, Souare prepped at Canyon International Academy in Arizona.
At Pitt, Souare reunites with point guard Naithan George, a teammate at both Georgia Tech and Syracuse. The Panthers will be Souare's third ACC program, with his college career to date spent entirely within the conference.
