Women's Lacrosse Names 14 to All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fourteen Pitt women's lacrosse student-athletes have been named to the 2026 Women's Lacrosse All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the ACC on Thursday afternoon. The list includes: Molly Cain, Anna Capobres, Alexa Carannante, Aidan Carr, Emily Clemens, Lilly Comello, Riley Ebersole, Gigi Leonzi, Lainey McGonagle, Madeline Mill, Avery Moon, Megan Sheridan, Ava Sumwalt and Paige Telatovich.
Carannante, Carr, Moon, Sheridan and Telatovich are each earning the All-ACC Academic honor for the third time. Cain, Capobres, Clemens, Comello, Ebersole, Leonzi, McGonagle, Mill and Sumwalt are first-time honorees.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a cumulative GPA of 3.0 including a 3.0 in the most recent two semesters, enrollment at the institution for at least one academic year, and participation in at least 50% of the team's contests.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
