2014: Placed sixth overall and was the third Pitt male to finish in his collegiate debut at the UB Stampede Invite with a time of 25:34.4 ... Ran the 5.2 mile run in 26:51 and placed 27th at the Harry Groves Invite ... Finished 52nd in the 5 mile Notre Dame Invitational with a time of 25:18.2 ... Placed 102nd at the 8K Pre-Nationals Invitational with a time of 26:35.4 ... Had a time of 25:51.1, good for 110th place at the ACC Championships 8K ... Was 96th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals 10K with a time of 32:45.0.

HIGH SCHOOL: Sloan was a cross country state qualifier both his junior and senior year ... His junior year he clinched third place in the WPIAL 1600 meter race ... His senior year he was a WPIAL runner-up in the 1600 meter race and finished in fourth place in the 1600 meter race at the PIAA State meet ...
