Felisha Hamiel joined the University of Pittsburgh Facilities Management dept in January 1994, before moving over to the Women’s Basketball department in April 2001 as their Administrative Assistant. She has managed the agendas for four Head Coaches including Traci Waites, Agnus Berenato, Suzie McConnell -Serio, Lance White and currently Tory Verdi.
A Pittsburgh native, Hamiel graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April 2000 with a BS degree in Urban Studies, and an AS degree in Business Management from Community College of Allegheny County. She loves to cheer on the Panthers as her daughter is following in her proud Pitt footstep as a Pitt student.

The Cathedral of Learning Nationality Rooms, its beautiful when they are decorated for the holidays!
Favorite Sports Moment at Pitt?
My favorite sports moment at Pitt was celebrating the first Women’s Basketball “Sweet 16” Championships in 2008 and 2009. These are moments I will always treasure; I received two championship rings from the celebratory occasions.
Hobbies outside of work?
Spending time with my family, husband and two college aged children, volunteering at church on the Finance Committee, and Religious Education Teacher for elementary grade students, walking and traveling.
