2010: Played in 19 games including 16 starts after moving back to the defender position...recorded nine shots and three on goal...helped Pitt record six shutouts on the season.
2009: Saw action in all 18 games off the bench...accumulated 750 minutes of playing time...completed season with one goal, two points and 15 shots...scored game-winning goal against Syracuse (Oct. 11), leading to a 1-0 win...the goal came on a header in the game[apos]s 36th minute.
2008: Saw action in 10 games as a defender...accumulated 180 minutes of playing time...took one shot on year.
2007: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Memorial High School in Madison, Wis....started three seasons at Memorial...scored 12 goals, four of which were game-winning tallies and posted seven assists during her sophomore and junior seasons...led Memorial to a 23-4-0 record as a junior and a 16-5-3 mark as a sophomore...helped the school capture regional and city titles in 2005 and 2006 and a conference championship in 2005...named team[apos]s MVP...garnered All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades as a junior...member of the Wisconsin State Olympic Development Program team from 2001-05.
PERSONAL: Born June 4, 1989...daughter of Keith Kunugi and Linda Abegglen...has one younger brother, Kenji...nicknamed 'Nugget'...enrolled in the School of Education...health and physical activities major, minoring in chemistry.
