Brandon Jackson is entering his second season as director of video & player development for the Pitt women’s basketball program in 2024-25. He is in charge of coaches film and breakdown while also helping in player development for the program.
Jackson is a familiar face for Verdi as the two have worked together for a total of nine seasons (one at Pitt, four at EMU, four at UMass). Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Jackson spent the previous four seasons as director of video operations for the UMass women’s basketball program where he utilized film breakdown software daily, charting offensive and defensive tendencies. He also helped to breakdown film with players following practices to help with their development.
Prior to Umass, he spent five seasons at Eastern Michigan as the video coordinator for women’s basketball. In his role, Jackson broke down film with players and coaches, while also contributing by creating graphics and presentations for team bonding activities.
