Favorite place on the University of Pittsburgh campus?
When I was a student my favorite place to spend time was on the Schenley plaza looking up at the Cathedral of Learning on a sunny day.
What is your favorite aspect of working in Pitt’s athletic department?
My favorite aspect of working in the athletic department is the fact that I get to merge my love of sports especially Pitt as I grew up a big Pitt fan with my professional career. I really enjoy the fact that I have the ability to help fans watch and experience some of Pitt’s greatest moments and that I get to experience those moments with the student athletes makes coming to work every day extremely enjoyable and fulfilling.
Favorite sports moment at Pitt?
I have two moments that are no doubt my favorite sports moments at Pitt. Both of these moments occurred while I was a sophomore, the first was when Pitt football defeated Penn State 42-39. I was in the endzone shooting highlights when Ryan Lewis Intercepted the ball to effectively win us the game. The second was when I got to travel with the football team to shoot highlights for the Pitt – Clemson game. To hear how silent the stadium got when the final field goal went through the uprights was an amazing experience as well.
Favorite Pittsburgh restaurant?
I really enjoy the fantastic food scene within all of the neighborhoods around the city. This answer probably changes every few months as we have so many new and changing restaurants but at the moment I really enjoy the food and atmosphere at Piazza Talarico in the Lawrenceville neighborhood.
