
Panthers Record Season High on Floor Against No. 6 Cal

BERKELEY – Pitt recorded a season-high 49.150 on floor behind stellar performances from Jordyn Ewing, Jah'Liyah Bedminster and Emily Todd in an eventual loss to No. 6 Cal, 195.125-197.775. Six Panther routines at least tied a season high, and Elizabeth Cesarone and Jaime Pratt had career days with a 9.850 on beam and a 9.825 on vault, respectively.
Bars
Pratt and Emily Todd were the highlight in the bars rotation for the Panthers, both recording 9.800s to start the afternoon. The duo was followed by Jah'Liyah Bedminster who notched a 9.725.
Vault
The Panthers continued its hot streak on vault as three Panthers earned at least a 9.800. Pratt put up a career-best 9.825 while Kennedy Duke and Bedminster recorded a 9.800. Graduate Cesarone registered a 9.775 to end the solid rotation.
Floor
The Panthers commanded the floor and recorded a season high 49.150. Jordyn Ewing, a staple in the Pitt floor lineup, led the Panthers and tied a season high with a 9.900, and Bedminster also tied a season high with a 9.875. Todd had a career day, tying a personal-best 9.875. Meika Lee continued her impressive rookie campaign with a 9.825.
Beam
Cesarone notched a career-high 9.850 on beam in her season debut, followed by freshman Darbi Simcox with a 9.850 of her own. Todd and Lee registered 9.800s.
