QUICK NOTES
- Pitt opens Atlantic Coast Conference play with a trip to face No. 19 Stanford Cardinal from March 6-8 at Stanford Softball Stadium. All three games will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
- Pitt and Stanford will meet in the regular season for the first time in program history.
- The Panthers and Cardinal did not meet during the 2025 regular season but faced off in the opening round of the ACC Softball Championship, where Stanford earned a 9-2 victory.
- Pitt ranks second in the ACC in stolen bases, going 42-for-49 on attempts this season. The Panthers' speed is highlighted by three players ranked in the ACC's top 10 in steals: Tieley Vaughn (T-2nd, 12-13), Ahmari Braden (T-6th, 9-10) and Alena Ball (T-8th, 8-9).
- Tieley Vaughn enters the weekend on a 13-game on-base streak dating back to Feb. 13. During the stretch, Vaughn is batting .410 (16-for-39) with 14 runs scored, two doubles, one home run, 11 walks and is 8-for-9 on stolen base attempts.
- Bekah Duck tossed the 10th no-hitter in program history in Pitt's 10-0 win over SIUE Cougars, marking the program's first no-hitter since 2016. Duck struck out five and allowed four walks over 6.0 innings.
