2016-17 Season
- Made a massive impact in his one season with the Panthers
- Won the 100 back in Pitt’s first four dual meets and scored in several other events
- Posted personal records in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly during the season
- Scored in two events at his first and final ACC Championships (Feb. 27-March 2)
- Became Pitt’s first ACC finalist in the 100 back, placing sixth in the event
- Also tallied for the Panthers in the 200 back with an 18th-place ACC finish
- Featured heavily in Pitt’s relay efforts as well at the ACC Championships
- Swam in the 200 and 400 medley relay, helping break a school record in the latter event
- Also competed for the Panthers on the 200 free and 400 free relay units
- Worked with Pitt assistant coach Bobby Folan at UNLV from 2012-16
- Qualified for the NCAA Championships three times
- Won seven Western Athletic Conference gold medals
- Did not compete and redshirted
- Earned NCAA Honorable Mention All-American twice

- In earning Honorable Mention All-America, the relay squad broke the UNLV record in the event
- Was a runner-up in the 100 back at the MPSF Championships with a time of 47.39
- Added a fourth-place finish in the 200 back in 1:46.18
- Raced the backstroke leg on two UNLV record-setting relays in the 200 and 400 medley
- Also swam in the 50 free at the league meet
- Competed in the back and free events for Colegio Costa Zovagli, two-time Brazil champions
- Set the school record in the 50, 100 and 200 back events
