- Junior forward Kalista Walters continues to lead the ACC in field goal percentage at .657 (46-of-70). She has shot .500 or above in all eight games this season.
- Walters and redshirt junior forward Yacine Diop are two of 16 ACC players with two or more games of 20 or more points this season. They are two of 18 ACC players with two or more double-doubles so far in 2017-18.

- Snap a two-game losing streak for the Panthers. Pitt's last win came against Arkansas State Nov. 15, 87-47.
- Snap a three-game losing streak for Pitt in the all-time series against West Virginia. The Panthers' last win against WVU was Feb. 5, 2011, in Morgantown (60-53).
- Be Pitt's first win against a top-10 opponent since defeating No. 8/6 North Carolina Jan. 8, 2015.
- Snap a 17-game losing streak for the Panthers against ranked opponents. Pitt's last win against a ranked foe was March 21, 2015, in the NCAA Tournament first round against No. 17/18 Chattanooga.
COUPLE OF CLOSE ONES
- The Panther's last two games have been decided by a combined four points: vs. Wisconsin (L, 58-57 – Nov. 29), at Fordham (L, 58-55 – Dec. 3).
- The last time Pitt had two consecutive games each decided by four points or fewer was at the 2011 Big East Tournament against USF (W, 63-60) and Marquette (L, 65-61).
LAST TIME OUT
- Junior center Kalista Walters posted her second double-double of the season for Pitt as the Panthers dropped their second consecutive game by a margin of three points or fewer, falling at Fordham Sunday at Rose Hill Gym.
- Walters had a season-high 22 points on 11-of-20 from the field to go along with 11 rebounds. It was the third double-double performance of her career, and her first since the Panthers' season opener against Youngstown State (Nov. 10).
- Freshman Kyla Nelson was the only other Panther to reach double figures in the scoring column, posting a career-high 10, with two 3-pointers.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
- West Virginia (7-0, 0-0 Big 12) entered the week ranked tenth in the nation by the Associated Press, and 11th in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll. The Mountaineers are downing opponents by an average of 29.1 points per game, good for fourth place in the country (third in the Big 12).
- Last time out, WVU topped then-No. 18/21 Texas A&M on the road Sunday in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, 70-56.
- Senior forward Teana Muldrow leads the Big 12 and is fourth in the NCAA with 23.9 points per game, and adds a team-high 9.1 rebounds per game.
- All five Mountaineer starters average at least 11.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
- West Virginia leads the all-time series with Pitt, 26-18, and is 13-7 when hosting the Panthers in Morgantown. Pitt's last win at WVU Coliseum came Feb. 5, 2011 (60-53).
