PITTSBURGH, PA – The Panthers finish out their five game home stand Tuesday afternoon as they welcome the Youngstown State Penguins to Highmark Stadium. Pitt's final non-conference game will get underway at 4 p.m. in Station Square.
Last time out, Pitt fell to #18 Duke Saturday by a score of 16-8. Sydney Naylor and Dylana Williams each scored a pair of goals and Hannah Van Middelem made 13 saves, but it was not enough to slow down the Blue Devil attack.
Youngstown State sits at 2-6 on the season and most recently dropped a matchup with Canisius, 15-3. Natalie Calandra-Ryan leads the Penguins on offense with 39 points (27 G, 12 A) and goalie Mikaela Staranko has stopped 64 shots in 2023.
This will be the first meeting between the Panthers and Penguins. Tuesday's contest can be streamed via ACCNX here. Admission to Highmark Stadium is free for all fans.
