THE OPENING TIP
- Pitt (15-10, 6-8 ACC) concludes a two-game home stretch Tuesday, Feb. 18 against Syracuse (11-15, 5-10 ACC). Tipoff from the Petersen Events Center is set for 7 p.m. with Doug Sherman and Randolph Childress calling the action on the ACC Network.
- The Panthers topped Syracuse, 77-73, on Jan. 25 as Jaland Lowe (22 points, six assists) and Ishmael Leggett (16 points, six rebounds) combined for 38 points, while Cameron Corhen added 12 points and seven rebounds. Pitt matched a school record with just three turnovers in the game.
- Eight of the Panthers' 10 losses have come in Quad 1 games with five of those eight Quad 1 defeats coming by six points or fewer.
- The Panthers are tied for fourth in total wins (61) and tied for fifth in league wins (32) among ACC schools since the start of the 2022-23 season.

- The Panthers' starting backcourt of Ishmael Leggett and Jaland Lowe combines to average 32.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, 8.1 assists, and 3.5 steals per game. The duo has combined for 40 double-figure scoring games, including 14 games with 20 or more points scored.

- Pitt is the only team in the NCAA with two players 6-3 or under averaging 16.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game or better. Jaland Lowe (16.5 ppg., 4.1 rpg.) and Ishmael Leggett (16.1 ppg., 5.9 rpg.) are looking to become the first pair of Pitt guards to each average at least 16.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in the same season.
- Jaland Lowe (16.5 ppg., 4.1 rpg., 5.3 apg.) is one of eight players in the NCAA averaging at least 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game. He missed the Panthers' win over Miami due to concussion protocol.
- Zack Austin leads the Panthers in three-point field goals (45) and blocked shots (43). He is one of three players in the NCAA with at least 40 three-pointers and 40 blocks this season. Mouhamdou Gueye (2021-22) is the only other Panther to lead the team in blocks and three-pointers in a season.
- Ishmael Leggett is one of eight players in the NCAA averaging at least 16.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He is looking to join Ricardo Greer (1999-2000) as the only Panthers to achieve those averages in a season.
- Cameron Corhen has scored in double figures 16 times and is averaging 10.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. He leads the Panthers in dunks (39) and offensive rebounds (47), while shooting 61.4 percent (113-of-184) from the field.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham and Jorge Diaz Graham are a combined 27-of-64 (.422) from three-point range in ACC play.
- Ishmael Leggett has scored 15 or more points in 18 of 24 games played this season. He leads the team in rebounds (5.9 rpg.) and steals (44), while also ranking second in scoring (16.1 ppg.), assists (68), and free throws (77).
- Brandin Cummings is averaging 10.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game over the past two contests.
- Zack Austin has made at least one three-point field goal in a career-best 20 consecutive games. He has made at least two threes in 13 of the past 20 contests and has 40 of his team-high 44 three-pointers in that span.
- Damian Dunn suffered a left arm injury at North Carolina (2/8) and is expected to miss the rest of the season. He is the Panthers' fourth-leading scorer at 9.9 points per game, while shooting 41.2 percent (21-of-51) from three-point range.
- Pitt is 177-of-216 (.819) from the free throw line over the past 12 games. The Panthers shot 90 percent or better four times during that stretch.
- The Panthers are averaging 83.8 points per game on 50.2 percent (404-of-805) shooting from the field in 14 home games.
