Pitt Travels to Face No. 16 Boston College Saturday

PITTSBURGH – No. 23 Pitt women's lacrosse hits the road Saturday for a noon ACC matchup against No. 16 Boston College at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
LAST TIME OUT
Pitt snapped a three-game losing streak Wednesday with a 17-5 victory over American University at Highmark Stadium. Avery Moon led the way with a career-high five goals and an assist for six points, while Gigi Leonzi contributed two goals and four assists. Aidan Carr set a new program record with 18 draw controls as the Panthers won 21 of 24 on the day.
SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
The Eagles enter at 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the ACC, coming off a 15-5 win over Harvard on Thursday.
MATCHUP HISTORY
Boston College leads the all-time series 4-0. In last season's meeting, the Eagles defeated Pitt 18-6 in Chestnut Hill.
PANTHERS TO WATCH
Moon leads Pitt with 17 goals, 17 assists and 34 points on the season and enters Saturday on a 24-game consecutive point streak. Paige Telatovich and Kaitlyn Giandonato are also tied for the team lead with 17 goals apiece. Giandonato has scored in four straight games, totaling eight goals and two assists in that span. Lainey McGonagle anchors the Pitt defense with a team-high 19 caused turnovers. Carr leads the draw circle with 70 draw controls on the season.
