Panthers Primed for Historic Penn Relays

PITTSBURGH – Pitt track and field will travel to the city of brotherly love for the historic Penn Relays. The meet runs April 23-25 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia and will feature the top high school, collegiate and Olympic development talent from around the world.
- The meet gets underway Thursday at noon with Madisyn Hawkins in the women's hammer throw (college).
- Friday begins with Elena Crespo in the women's long jump (college) and Alexa Brown in the women's shot put (college) starting at noon.
- The women's high jump (championship) will start at 11:30 a.m. and features two Pitt athletes, Eva Baldursdottir and Alesia Rengle.
