PITTSBURGH – The Pitt women's soccer team (1-0-0) continues its home stand to open the season, hosting Texas (1-0-0) Sunday. Kickoff is slated for noon at Ambrose Urbanic Field.
THE OPENING KICK

- Six players made their Panthers debut in Wednesday evening's match. Freshmen Elli Johnson, Maci Tew, Desiree Reed, and Talyn Gutherie all started the match while Laila Vloet entered as a reserve. Senior transfer Claire Jones also played her first game in the Blue and Gold, logging all 90 minutes.
