Women's Soccer Returns Home to Host Liberty Thursday

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt women's soccer team returns home following a two-game road trip to California, going 1-0-1 in that span. The Panthers host the defending Conference USA champions, Liberty Thursday at Ambrose Urbanic Field.

- Season, match and group tickets for the 2026 season are now on sale through the Panthers Ticket Office.
- 2026 season tickets are ON SALE NOW for just $60.

- All tickets will be digital once again this season.
- Thursday's match will feature $1 hot dogs at the concession area.
- A welcome back student-athlete tailgate will take place on the concourse with outdoor games, treats, and other activities.
WHERE TO WATCH
- Fans who can't make it out to Ambrose Urbanic Field for Thursday's match can catch all the action on ACC Network Extra with Zach Gibney and Jayna Whalen on the call.
BITS FROM THE 'BURGH
- Celine Ottah scored in both games in the Golden State, marking her first and second goals as a Panther. Ottah joins Lola Abraham as Panthers with multiple goals on the year.
- Olivia Lee returned to the Panthers lineup after missing two games against Texas and LMU. Lee played the full 90 at Santa Clara. The senior missed just three minutes of action in 2025.
- Ottah leads the Panthers in points this season with five (2G, 1A). The senior has taken six shots on goal, landing four on target.
- Sophomore Adi Bianchin has matched her points total from 2025 with two. She has also started in three games for the Panthers this season, just one off her mark of four starts from last season.
- Sofia Doheny made her 2026 debut against LMU. Doheny was out due to injury in the first two games of the year.
- Freshmen Weslee Istone-Haupt, Eden Jones, and Blakeley Soderman all made their collegiate debuts during the road trip.
- Freshmen Maci Tew and Elli Johnson have made starts in each of the first four games of their collegiate careers.
SCOUTING LIBERTY
- Liberty comes into Thursday's match with a 2-1-1 record with wins over VCU and East Carolina. The Flames have already played two other ACC opponents this season: No. 11 Virginia (L, 2-0) and Virginia Tech (T, 2-2).
- Halle Engle and Lauren Littleton were named the CUSA Preseason Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year respectively. Engle tallied six goals and nine assists last season, earning her CUSA Player of the Year honors. Littleton is also the reigning CUSA Defensive Player of the Year.
